Miller Foundation: Sydell & Arnold Miller The “Art of Hair Coloring” – Summer 2025
Haircoloring is one of the most creative and exciting services salons offer. It’s also a great way to express your creative vision and artistic skills. This scholarship is for students that love hair coloring. Show our judges your three (3) favorite hair coloring techniques for a chance to win this scholarship category.
Scholarship
One (1) Tuition Scholarship, up to $5,000
Summer 2025 Season from June 1 – July 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm PST.
Eligibility Requirements
- The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program at the accredited school/institution.
- This scholarship is open to new or currently enrolled students in a cosmetology program that leads to licensure at an accredited school/institution in the United States.
Application Requirements
- Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment / acceptance in a cosmetology program an accredited school/institution. You must upload either an enrollment document, official acceptance letter, or progress report from an accredited school
- Application must upload three (3) photos of your artistic HAIRCOLORING work on a mannequin, client or friends and family showing your creative abilities.
- Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions:
- Please describe your creative vision for the photos of your work and why haircoloring is your passion.
- What are the top three reasons you’ve decided to pursue a career in beauty?
- How will receiving this scholarship impact your life?
