The “Art of Haircutting” scholarship is for students who love hair cutting, the true architectural aspect of cosmetology. Show our judges your three favorite haircuts for a chance to win this exciting scholarship category.
Scholarship
One (1) Tuition Scholarship, up to $5,000
The Summer 2026 Scholarship season is from June 1, 2026 – July 31, 2026, at 11:59 Pm PST.
Eligibility Requirements
- The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program at the accredited school/institution.
- This scholarship is open to new or currently enrolled students in a cosmetology program that leads to licensure at an accredited school/institution in the United States.
Application Requirements
- Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment/acceptance in a cosmetology program an accredited school/institution. You must upload either an enrollment document, official acceptance letter, or progress report from an accredited school
- Application must upload three (3) photos of your artistic hair cutting work on a mannequin, client or friends and family showing your creative abilities.
- Submit a 3-minute maximum YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions:
- Please describe your creative vision for the photos of your work and why haircutting is your passion.
- What are the top three reasons you’ve decided to pursue a career in beauty?
- How will receiving this scholarship impact your life?
