Accreditation

Deciding on a school to receive training for your new future is an important decision that deserves careful consideration.

By choosing an accredited school, you are attending a school that has demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of accreditation.

Continental School of Beauty is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS).

NACCAS is an independent accrediting commission that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national agency for the institutional accreditation of postsecondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, including specialized schools. It presently accredits approximately 1,300 institutions that serve over 120,000 students. These schools offer over thirty (30) courses and programs of study that fall under NACCAS’ scope of accreditation.

NACCAS’s physical address is:

National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences
3015 Colvin Street
Alexandria, VA 22314

Schools are re-evaluated at least once every six (6) years. Continuation of accreditation depends on maintenance of the established standards. Continental’s Rochester and Mattydale campuses were reaccredited in 2022 and the West Seneca campus was reaccredited in 2021.

Each year Continental School of Beauty must submit an annual report to NACCAS that compiles the graduation, placement and licensure rate for each campus.  To view the results of this report please click here.
