Hairdressing and Cosmetology Transfer to Barbering

Are you a Licensed Cosmetologist looking to expand your service offerings with an additional license in Barbering?

We are excited to offer a Cosmetology to Barbering Transfer Course! This new part-time program allows licensed cosmetologists like you to apply 300 hours of your cosmetology training towards the 600-hour Barbering course. With this transfer, you can complete the Barbering requirements in half the time.

Upon successfully passing the New York State Board practical examination, you’ll earn the additional title of Licensed Barber, expanding your skill set and client base!

What You Will Learn

Continental School of Beauty’s Hairdressing and Cosmetology Transfer to Barbering 300-hour program is a part-time day program (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30am – 4:45pm) and may be completed in just over 15 weeks at the Rochester campus.
