Financial Aid Availability

Continental School of Beauty is approved to participate in U.S. Department of Education Student Aid Programs. Federal grants and loans are available to those who qualify and we can help you explore your options. Some of the programs available to qualifying students include:
  • Federal Pell Grant: Awarded to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need and have not earned a bachelor’s, graduate, or professional degree. Unlike loans, Pell Grants do not have to be repaid, except under certain circumstances.
  • Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans: Federal student loans offered by the U.S. Department of Education to help eligible students cover the cost of higher education. Subsidized loans are need-based, and the government pays the interest while the student is in school. Unsubsidized loans are not need-based, and interest accrues while the student is in school.
  • Direct PLUS Loan: A federal loan that parents of dependent undergraduate students can use to help pay for education expenses. These loans are unsubsidized, meaning that interest accrues throughout the life of the loan.
  • Veteran’s Benefits: Education benefits that help veterans, service members, and their qualified family members pay for education and training. These benefits can include the GI Bill, tuition assistance, and other educational support programs.
  • Native American Aid: Financial assistance programs specifically available to Native American students. These can include scholarships, grants, and other resources designed to support the educational pursuits of Native American students.
  • Scholarships: Financial awards given to students based on various criteria such as academic achievement, talent, or financial need. Scholarships do not have to be repaid. Check out our scholarships page for current opportunities available.
