Sugarlash Pro Lash Mastery Cosmetology/Esthetics Student Scholarship

Award Amount | # of Recipients

One (1) $1,500 Scholarship for the Winter 2025, open from December 1 – January 31, 2025.

*Students currently accepted and enrolled in a Cosmetology or Esthetics Program at a Sugarlash PRO Partner School and meeting all other eligibility qualifications will receive an ADDITIONAL $1,000 toward their tuition.*  

Applicant Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled (or a newly accepted student) in an accredited school/institution cosmetology/esthetics program, leading to licensure in the U.S. or Canada.
• The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program at the accredited school/institution.

Application Requirements

1. Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment from an accredited school/institution cosmetology/esthetics program, leading to licensure in the U.S. or Canada.
2. Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions (if the video exceeds the 3-minute requirement the application will be declined):

• Describe how receiving this scholarship would impact your life. What goals do you want to achieve? Provide examples of short- and long-term goals and how you’d achieve them.  
• Why is lash artistry your passion? How has your experience with esthetics/cosmetology and lash artistry influenced your passion? 
• How will you use your career in esthetics/cosmetology to benefit the lash artistry community?

Dermalogica “Future Industry Professionals” | Esthetics (BIPOC) Student Scholarship

Application Deadline: January 31, 2025

Dermalogica® is continuing its support of the beauty industry by generously funding esthetics scholarship since 2020. The Future Industry Professionals Esthetics Scholarship is open to students who are newly accepted or currently enrolled in an esthetics program at a Dermalogica partner school, and identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color. The esthetics student scholarship will be awarded through Beauty Changes Lives.

• The applicants must identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color)
• Must be a currently enrolled (or a newly accepted student) in a Dermalogica® Partner School, leading to licensure in the U.S.
• The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program at the accredited school/institution.

Application Requirements

1. Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment from an esthetics program by uploading your: progress report, or official acceptance letter from a Dermalogica Partner school.
2. Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions (if the video exceeds the 3-minute requirement the application will be declined):

• Describe how receiving this scholarship would impact your life. What are your short-term and long-term goals?
• Why is esthetics your passion? How has your experience with your own skin shaped your passion?
• How will you use your career in esthetics to benefit your community?
• How does human connection inspire you in skin care?

ARNOLD M. MILLER | FIND-A-WAY COSMETOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: January 31, 2025

Arnie M. Miller had a “Find-A-Way” Attitude in business and his life. Whatever the challenge, he always found a “way to make it happen”! “Can’t do” wasn’t in his vocabulary. If you have a “Find-A-Way Attitude” in your life and career, this is the scholarship for you.

Scholarship
One (1) Tuition Scholarship, up to $15,000

The Winter 2025 Scholarship season is from December 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

• This Scholarship is open to new and current students enrolled in a cosmetology program to qualify for these scholarships.
• Students must provide proof of acceptance and/or proof of attendance at an accredited school or institution.
• The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program at the accredited school or institution.

Application Requirements

1. Application must include three (3) photos of your artistic work on a mannequin, client or friends and family showing your creative abilities.
2. Submit a 3-minute MAXIMUM, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions:

• Describe your creative vision for the photos of your work.
• Tell us about a time that you exhibited a “Find-A-Way Attitude” where you had to think outside of the box to solve a problem or achieve a goal.
• Tell us why having a “Find-A-Way Attitude” will help advance your cosmetology career.

SYDELL & ARNOLD MILLER | ART OF HAIR COLOR SCHOLARSHIP

Haircoloring is one of the most creative and exciting services salons offer. It’s also a great way to express your creative vision and artistic skills. This scholarship is for students that love hair coloring. Show our judges your three (3) favorite hair coloring techniques for a chance to win this scholarship category.

One (1) Tuition Scholarship, up to $5,000

Winter 2025 Season from December 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025.

SYDELL MILLER | TOTAL IMAGE ESTHETICS SCHOLARSHIP

Sydell Miller was the first beauty industry executive to believe “beauty didn’t stop at the hairline.” Her Total Image Consulting Program was the Salon Owner’s guide to success in professional esthetics. Two (2) Tuition Scholarships, up to $7,500

Winter 2025 season open from December 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements 

• The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program at the accredited school/institution.
• This scholarship is open to new or currently enrolled students in an esthetics program that leads to licensure at an accredited school/institution in the United States.

Application Requirements

1. Complete online application and submit proof of enrollment / acceptance in an esthetics program an accredited school/institution. You must upload either an enrollment document, official acceptance letter, or progress report from an accredited school
2. Application must include two (2) before-and-after photos of an esthetics treatment, make-up application, or eyebrow cleanup.
3. Submit a 3-minute maximum, YouTube video with a public link answering the following questions:

• Please describe your creative vision for the photos of your work and why esthetics is your passion.
• Tell us about the moment when you were absolutely certain that a career in esthetics was your calling. What challenges did you overcome to get here?
• How will receiving this scholarship impact your life?
