Congratulations to Continental Graduate, Amanda Stewart!
Congratulations to our amazingly talented Continental graduate, Amanda Stewart, who recently won the Zoom Color Goldwell Competition! Amanda currently works at Re:Vive Salon, which carrries Goldwell color products. When she learned that Goldwell had a color competition for CNY locals called Zoom Color, she set her sights on showing off her talents there. At the Award Ceremony, held at the Turning Stone Casino, it was announced that Amanda won first place out of thousands who had entered the contest. She also received the most votes from stylists who attended the Trendzoom event! Amanda said, “I was up against master stylists who have been in the industry for many years so it was intimidating, but I didn’t let that stop me. So, I poured my heart out into my work and it has paid off. I was asked by the director of Goldwell to speak to a few cosmetology students who attended to share my journey with them because they felt insignificant. It was great to uplift those girls. My prize is my education at Goldwell Academy, a paid flight and hotel, and my Zoom Color entry will be on the front page of Goldwell New York magazine with an article written about me and my salon!”
