Back to School Beauty Trends
Let’s face it – whether we’re talking first day of 3rd grade, high school or college, knowing the back to school beauty trends are a must. After all, it’s a whole new beginning and you want this to be the year you stand out from the crowd in a good way. We thought we’d share some of the hottest looks making a statement this fall.
Hair is Everything
Yes, it is. That doesn’t mean it has to be a big ordeal.
Pixie cut
If your hair is on the shorter side, go for it with a too-cute pixie cut. This sassy, throwback style is super hip right now and even better – super easy to maintain.
Bohemian buns x 2
Somehow these messy, low, double-buns literally scream too cool for school.
Braids: every which way
A fishtail braid, half up mohawk braid, braided bun, box braids – if it’s braided, it’s beautiful. With so many options, you could pull off a different braided look every day of the week.
Beachy waves
If you’re already blessed with those natural waves, bring them to school with you. Mid-length to longer hair is a solid look when there’s a beachy wave vibe happening.
Put Your Best Face Forward
Ok, so hair isn’t absolutely everything. These makeup trends are on-point this fall.
Smoky eye
You become the smoke show with this classic look. To get that perfect smoky eye, choose a shade of eye shadow that complements your eye color. Brown eyes pop with shades of navy blue and grey. Blues eyes look great with copper shades and green eyes are even hotter with shades of plum.
It’s ok to blush
Hey, who doesn’t love a little radiant glow to their cheeks? If you’re fair-skinned, contour your cheekbones with a pale shade of pink blush. For medium to dark skin, try out shades of peach all the way up to fuchsia and magenta.
Highlight your finer points
Brighten your look with an actual dusting of shimmery highlighter on the upper cheekbones and inner corners of your eyes.
Lash out a little
Are lush, full lashes ever a bad thing? Don’t have them naturally? That’s ok! A good, clump-free mascara is a girl’s best friend in the lash department. You can also use an eyelash curler to give your lashes an extra boost.
