Eligibility
American or Canadian citizens who currently reside in the United States or Canada.
Students that have chosen or will choose Cosmetology as their Major.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
There are two ways for you to apply for our scholarship program.
#1: WRITE AN ESSAY
Title: How Can Technology Change the Area of Cosmetology in The Next 10 Years?
It’s important to be creative and original! Think outside the box. These are the most important qualities that we will be looking at. While there is no limitation on your creativity, we expect the essays to be of at least 1,000 words with preferred length in the mid-1,000s.
#2: UPLOAD A YOUTUBE VIDEO
Title: AiryHair Scholarship 2019
Longer videos don’t necessarily mean better! However, the more person talks, the easier it is for us to understand him or her. Please use the following format:
Introduction
What college or university will you be attending and why?
What’s your current experience in cosmetology?
What’s your opinion about hair extensions in the beauty industry?
Talk about your goals five years from now
Video description should include your first and last name initials (for verification purposes) as well as a link to https://www.airyhair.com/scholarship/ as proof that this video was created for our scholarship. Every other detail is optional.
